The lightweight, but rugged molded plastic hopper around the Highbanker is good sized with spray bars on the two sides, each by using a threaded cap for ease of debris elimination. The unit is often constantly fed using a smaller shovel.

Like a dredge, the 2" combo presents enhanced perfomance in excess of lots of other models over the industry. Most combos feed the hopper above the grizzly in lieu of the sluice, even in dredge mode, forcing materials to become lifted larger out of the water and decreasing functionality. On Proline Combos the energy jet feeds the unit under the grizzly and operates comparable to a conventional crashbox design dredge. Advantages of Employing a Highbanker:

The common hopper style highbanker design washes clay and debris using a high pressure washing spray bar and all washed materials gets classified to less than 1/2 inch for impoved recovery of smaller gold.
