Who loves to snipe and crevice bedrock for gold? Well I do!

Here’s some of the tools needed for you to do the job. If your going for light weight and the less the better method, you can take a small pack with you and put the Estwing Rock pick, Crevice Tool, Bedrock Brush, Hand Rock Chisel, Under Water Viewer and Stainless Digging tool in your pack with your food, water and Gold Pans and you will be set for a day of sniping, digging, breaking and crevicing bedrock! Thats about it for the light weight, easy to carry tools.

If you want a bit more equipment for your gold mining sniping and crevacing you can carry along with you a sucker tube hand dredge. I personally use a fairly large one but a small sucker tube will do the trick if you have just a small amount of water. You can put the hand dredge in your pack or in a 5 gallon bucket to carry remotely.  For even more gold processing power, take along a sluice box with you and use it with the hand dredge sucker tube and put the material into the sluice as you go!

When I go out sniping for gold I usually take the before mentioned small pack with me. The second method of taking more equipement like the sluice and hand dredge I usually either do one of the other between a gold metal detector or the hand dredge/sluice combo. Occationally I will take all mentioned here with me if my vehicle is not far away from where I’ll be mining. The metal detector I usually take for sniping bedrock is my Garrett AT Gold with the stock 5”x8” DD coil as well as the 4.5” sniper coil.
